GREEN-IT is privileged with a Scientific Advisory Board composed of three distinguished scientists, working in very diverse areas, of Plant Sciences.

 

Prof. Dorothea Bartels

Professor at University of Bonn, Germany (IMBIO - Institute of Plant Molecular Physiology and Biotechnology) and recognized authority in plant molecular biology and physiology, particularly in the study of plants under stress conditions

Prof. Paul Christou

ICREA Research Professor at Universitat de Lleida, Spain, and recognized authority in applied plant biotechnology and plant improvement for food security and sustainable agriculture

Prof. Sophien Kamoun

Professor at The Sainsbury Laboratory, Norwich, UK and recognized authority in plant pathogens, effectors, genomics, and evolution and in exploiting pathogen genomics and effector biology to develop novel disease resistant crops

Prof. Angela Sessitsch

Head of the Bioresources Unit at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, pioneered plant-associated microbiomes and explores the interactions between plants, microbiomes and the environment and develops applications for crop improvement

 

PatrĂ­cia Cotrim

Managing Director of NOGAM, an agro-industrial unit in the nut business, with a deep knowledge of the agricultural and agro-industrial areas, and extensive background in the private sector and in the Portuguese public administration.
