IMpaCT at the 5th Instruct Biennial Structural Biology Conference, 19-20 May 2022

On May 19-20, 2022, the INSTRUCT-ERIC hub organized the “5th Instruct Biennial Structural Biology Conference - Changes in structural biology: challenges in studying dynamics”, in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

During this meeting several researchers from the different INSTRUCT Centres met to discuss the new cutting-edge developments in structural biology, including the emerging methods and technologies that are helping scientists to decipher complex biomolecular dynamics.

This was a great opportunity for different IMpaCT project members to meet up: Célia Romão, The IMpaCT project Co-Coordinator; José Maria Carazo, CNB-CSIC partner coordinator; Carlos Oscar Soriano, CNB-CSIC partner co-coordinator; Sarah Butcher, UH partner coordinator; Peter Peters, IMpaCT SAB member; Margarida Archer, ITQB NOVA team member; Marcos Gragera, CNB-CSIC team member; Pasi Laurinmäki, UH team member; and Zlatka Plavec, UH team member.

Some of the IMpaCT members had the opportunity to present their research projects to a larger scientific community and most importantly to discuss the next steps of our CryoEM network with the support of the INSTRUCT-ERIC infrastructure.

The IMpaCT partner, José Maria Carazo from the CNB-CSIC, was one of the Scientific Organising Committee members.
