IMpaCT Joins ITQB NOVA on a School visit

Last March 2^nd 2020, José Brito, a senior post-doc involved in the IMpaCT project, was invited to Camilo Castelo Branco Secondary School for an informal seminar attended by four 11^th grade classes. The seminar was on “Cristalografia e as Histórias Dos Prémios Nobel” (Cristalography and the History of the Nobel Prizes).

During this session, José Brito had the opportunity to introduce the ITQB NOVA Institute and some of its research areas, what are the main challenges of the scientific projects and somehow what are the motivations to pursue a scientific career. The students were quite engaged in this informal conversation and have increased their curiosity to know more about the daily life of a scientist.
